Current activities:

  • Coordinate the Ontario Ministry of the Environment’s Lake Partner Program (Provincial 650+ volunteer water quality monitoring program) and other inland lakes surveillance programs
  • Conduct research evaluating long-term environmental changes and current trends in inland lake water quality
  • Foster partnerships on inland lake monitoring with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Conservation Authorities, municipal governments, public interest groups and the public
  • Provide technical expertise on inland lake water quality and respond to public inquiries
